In 1993, David began selling his artwork to tattoo studios as Flash, the predrawn sheets of design you see on the walls of many tattoo studios.
After so much exposure to the tattoo world, he found an apprenticeship with Steve Lemack of Quillion Tattoo shop in Allentown. After his apprenticeship, he opened Sacred Soul Tattoo in Easton, PA, which housed the studio and an art gallery.
He opened his second shop along with friend Frank Murphy under the name Dragonfly in Coopersburg, Pa in 1999. In 2004 He moved to West Reading PA to open the current shop, Dragonfly Studio & Gallery.
David's tattoo work has been featured on VH-1 and broadcast on CNN. He has worked on over 250 tattoos on George Reiger, "Disney's Number one Fan", who has over 1,900 Disney tattoos. |
